余先川,男,1967年10月出生,四川人,漢族。2005年1月加入九三學社。現任北京師範大學信息科學與技術學院教授,博導,獲教育部新世紀優秀人才。
1995年吉林大學博士研究生畢業,1995年-1998年在吉林大學計算機軟體博士後流動站工作,博士後。

研究方向
主要研究方向為多學科交叉研究,跨信息科學、數學、地球科學等學科。
主要貢獻
已申請國家發明專利10項(其中授權2項,公開4項,實質審查4項)、獲準軟體著作權4項,並在相關期刊及重要國際會議上發表學術論文100餘篇、專著3部(章),其中SCI/EI等收錄70餘篇。近幾年來主持國家863課題1項、國家自然科學基金5項、教育部項目3項、北京市自然科學基金2項,其他項目多項。
研究概況
在自然科學基礎研究方面,研究非線性空間信息統計、獨立成分分析、非負矩陣分解、稀疏成分分析等理論方法,並將其引入地質、遙感等地球科學中,開始得到回響和發展;
在套用基礎研究方面,提出非負有序ICA、信源可變SL-ICA、稀疏非負矩陣分解、單親遺傳混合像元分解、頻域稀疏成分分析、基於反饋機制的抗混合噪聲的盲圖像源分離、穩健協同克立格因子分析方法等創新性理論方法;
在實用級軟體系統方面,研製的具有完全自主智慧財產權並融入盲源分離、面向對象的目標分類與識別等特色的遙感影像處理系統(KeenEYE2.0)已在北京市地質研究所等10多家單位試用;研製的具有完全自主智慧財產權的三維克里格儲量計算模組已加入中國地質科學院的探礦者系統,並已在國土資源系統展開4輪系統套用培訓工作。
