《中國高教改革（1992-2010）背景下的創業型大學譜系學研究（英文版）》以福柯提出並由羅斯及米勒發展的治理術（governmentality）為理論框架，採用了譜系學（genealogy）的研究方法，來解構並重構中國高等教育政策（1992～2010），以此來探索在當代中國社會歷史背景下出現的新型大學：創業型大學（enterprise university）。
