- 2021年12月,高碩與其他100餘名來自於牛津大學、劍橋大學等學術機構的科學家、國際組織成員,和非洲當地的領導人聯名簽署了題為《英國的戰利品狩獵進口貿易禁令需要成為一個高明的禁令》的公開信(The UK’s trophy hunting import ban needs to be a smart ban - an open letter),以抵制英國政府正在籌備的戰利品狩獵進口禁令的議案、公開反對其罔顧戰利品狩獵的生態價值和非洲社群的生計和自治的基本權利、敦促其重新考慮該禁令;這封公開信後由世界自然保護聯盟(International Union for Conservation of Nature)可持續使用和生計專家組發表;2022年1月英國《衛報》(The Guardian)報導了該封公開信;
- 2020年11月-2021年5月,高碩與全球知名專業工程顧問加拿大科進集團(WSP Global)等產業智囊、學者合作,經英國環境、食品及農村事務部、自然英格蘭(Natural England)等英國政府部門審議,共同編撰並發表概略研究(scoping study),以促進英國建築業立法進一步納入人類福祉原則、加強對建築發展項目所造成的土地變化對社會群體影響的評估;報告指出英國現行的社會影響評價系統並不能完全勝任對人類福祉的評估,而英國不同政府部門對促進福祉的規定存在不一致性和模糊性會限制英國政府在建設規劃的福祉政策的有效性;報告已在大曼徹斯特政府、薩福克博物學家協會等政府和非政府機構發表討論。
