《英漢寫作過程心理語言學研究》考察不同二語水平的中國高校英語專業學生的二語（英語）寫作過程，並與其母語（漢語）寫作過程進行對比，藉此來揭示該過程的本質。同時通過對比同一被試者的二語和母語寫作過程以及不同二語水平的被試者的二語寫作過程，從兩個維度，即注意的分配和意識程度進行分析。書中運用多種數據收集技術，採用定量與定性分析相結合的手段加以描述分析，對研究二語習得寫作的方法有一定的啟示作用。
