高等院校旅遊管理專業系列教材:酒店英語

《高等院校旅遊管理專業系列教材:酒店英語》是根據目前大學生的實際英語水平和專業需要,從飯店業管理涉及的各個方面出發,以飯店組織管理、餐飲業、住宿業、市場行銷管理、財務信息管理、人力資源開發策略、飯店危機管理和飯店發展前景八大模組為主題,總計十六個單元。每個單元包括“閱讀”、“模擬寫作”和“幽默小故事”三部分。第一部分為“閱讀”,包括兩篇文章,內容編排結合理論與實際案例。第一篇文章側重飯店管理知識和前沿管理理論的介紹,適於深度閱讀;第二篇文章為相同主題的擴充,適於快速閱讀或補充閱讀。每篇文章前面安排有熱身練習,以激發學生的閱讀興趣和相關知識;後面安排閱讀理解練習,以綜合鞏固學生的飯店管理知識,旨在從理論和實踐兩方面提供飯店管理專業知識的同時,提高學生的英語閱讀和翻譯能力。第二部分為“模擬寫作”,旨在培養學生參照範例擬寫和翻譯與飯店業相關的英語套用文的能力;第三部分為“幽默小故事”,旨在營造輕鬆的學習氛圍,培養學生的幽默感。
