樂隊簡介

旋律硬搖滾樂隊Shinedown來自佛羅里達州傑克遜維爾（Jacksonville，Florida），樂隊成員由主唱布倫特·史密斯（Brent Smith），吉他傑辛·托德（Jasin Todd），貝司布拉德·斯圖爾特（Brad Stewart）和鼓手巴里·赫斥（Barry Kerch）組成。被大西洋唱片公司（Altanic Record）搶簽後說成是Creed和Nickelback的接班人。樂隊在2003年的第一張專輯《Leave a Whisper》為樂隊帶來了不錯的成績，之後樂隊在2004年的大部分時間裡都在各地巡演然後發行了一張現場專輯。2005年發行了成績不俗的新專輯《Us and Them》。

跟別的重搖滾樂隊相比，他們的音樂靠的不是由高精度設備製造出來的重低音，而是靠熟練的節奏吉它手的Riff和主唱的高跨度音域嗓音天衣無縫的協調所產生的震撼音樂，這讓兩年後的今年夏天他們的第二張專輯《Us and Them》再度出現在排行榜上！第3首《Save Me》已經在主流搖滾排行榜上龍頭的位置停留了很長時間了，讓Foo Fighters的新歌也無法超越，Shinedown能夠出人頭地全憑那股旋律搖滾的激情！
