湖南金採集團的創始人龔澧女士畢業於中南大學商學院，工商管理研究生學歷、工商管理碩士畢業，管理工程學科博士在讀，2002年進入湖南廣電傳媒編輯部，2003年成立長沙天威空調技術有限公司，從事中央空調系統的銷售與系統建設，為了擴大經營，2008年長沙天威空調技術有限公司變更為湖南蘭希機電設備有限責任公司，2012年，在經營了中央空調系統及工程管理十餘年後，開始走多元化經營發展的道路，金採在這個時候依託湖南蘭希機電設備責任有限公司孕育而生。2013年，湖南蘭希機電設備有限責任公司變更為湖南金采農業開發有限公司，並陸續成立了湖南金采科技有限責任公司、湖南金采進出口有限公司、湖南金采餐飲有限公司、湖南金采慈善基金會，進入農業這個行業，便得到了袁隆平院士的高度支持與認可，並為公司題了名，並祝願金采能夠做到：“金采農業，老百姓放行的菜籃子！-袁隆平題”，2014年受CCTV影響力對話欄目組專訪關於如何新型農業和如何保證農副產品安全的問題。2014年被評為中國農村新聞人物，擁有科研專家團隊200餘人，積聚了一批以院士、博導、教授為核心的智囊團隊，得到了國內乃至於世界頂尖的農業和戰略專家指導與支持。在農業農副產品領域創建了親民的無公害品牌“金采牌”和高端的有機品牌“極金采牌”，並與北京釣魚台國賓館、中國國防科技大學、中南大學、中南湘雅醫院等建立了戰略合作。農業產業以甜玉米產業鏈為主，種植、養殖、加工、出口一條龍，打造國家級現代農業示範園，擁有農業產業基地5-6萬畝。產品遠銷亞洲、歐美、非洲等世界各地。公司堅持質量第一、服務第一、價格第一、客戶第一的大原則，贏得了合作夥伴的高度讚許。

金采由來
金采，諧音：精彩！寓意企業無限精彩的意思，把“金采”二字倒過來念就是“採金”，採金、採金，顧名思義，採收金子，企業的價值和發展離不開金子，金子越多，企業越紅火，象徵紅紅火火，進金多多。話說“金采”這個名字的由來有一個神奇的故事，金采采主龔澧是個信奉佛教和道教之人，2013年9月19日，金采采主龔澧在五台山上清修，午休之時夢見達摩祖師、金母娘娘乘祥雲而來，金母娘娘手執金穗，輕輕一揮，漫天的金粉隨天而降，並在萬里晴空中畫下“金采”二字，口中娓娓道：金采賜予你，應造福百姓，金采，採金也，望不負重託！說完便消失在天際，采主龔澧醒來，窗外秋高氣爽，正是收穫的季節，並決定將企業更名為“金采”，更名的過程中還頗費了一些周折，不過最終還是變更成功，企業也隨著金采的開始，蒸蒸日上，與時俱進。

采主由來
金采采主便是金采董事長，只是說法不一樣，為什麼叫金采采主呢？這要源於著名畫家雕刻家策劃大師蕭寬，蕭寬是我國目前著名策劃大師，采主龔澧在北京時，與眾位書畫家朋友同聚，興致之餘，摯友畫家蕭寬給好友的金採集團寫下了“極金采”三個字，又道：“既然叫做金采，你便為采主（財主諧音）。”眾人一聽，皆說十分好，采主（財主）、主財也。從此之後金采掌門人便稱為“采主”，金采采主此稱呼也便成為金採集團掌門人的專用說法。
