另外田志龍教授為Senior member, Institute of Asia Study, Otago University, New Zealand、Academy of Management (AOM) 會員、International Association of Chinese Management Researchers (IACMR)會員、<管理學報>編委、<行銷科學學報>編委、《戰略管理》編委、International Management編委。
目前田志龍教授已出版教材與專著13部,在Long Range Planning、Business & Society、Asia Pacific Journal of Management、《管理世界》、《南開管理評論》、《中國軟科學》等期刊上發表學術論文80多篇。主持完成了9項國家自然科學基金課題,其中5項為面上項目,同時2014年還有1項國家自然科學基金項目處於研究中。學術成果4次獲教育部或湖北省政府優秀成果獎,其中《市場研究》與《經營者監督與激勵》專著分別獲教育部優秀教材和優秀人文社科成果獎項。
