創作背景

消極樂隊的歌曲《Still Alive》講述了歌唱者對戀人的依戀之情與執著的追求之心。該曲目融入了一定的哥特搖滾元素，具有唯美而細膩的美感。主唱喬尼·亞倫（Jonne Aaron）的聲音渾厚有力，唱到激情處忽而轉為沙啞。沙啞並非由撕裂產生，而是來自胸腔，出自內心，帶有頗具吸引力的磁性。

2003年12月12日，該歌曲隨消極樂隊發布的《Still Alive》單曲專輯首度亮相。除了長4分20秒的原版音樂外，專輯亦收錄了伴奏改變版的《Still Alive》，演唱會現場錄音版的《Still Alive》以及另一首歌曲《Lost Soul》。該單曲在芬蘭音樂排行榜上最高排到第4名。

消極樂隊（Negative）是成立於1997年的芬蘭搖滾樂團。樂團在初期就以悅耳的旋律和吉他反覆樂節建立名聲。團員的音樂受到了槍與玫瑰、皇后合唱團和Hanoi Rocks的影響。消極樂隊是2000年代最具國際知名度的芬蘭樂團之一。
