人物經歷

1997年在北京大學獲得理學博士學位 (專業:生物化學和套用化學)。博士期間, 主要從事黃酮類天然藥物抗氧化活性及其與自由基反應機制的研究。1997-1998年, 在中國人民大學化學教研室任講師。1998-2003年, 在美國德克薩斯大學休斯敦醫學院 (The University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in Houston) 從事博士後研究, 主要進行與炎症和腫瘤相關基因(COX-2/iNOS)的表達調控和分子機制等生物醫學領域的研究工作。2003-2009年被聘任到美國排名第一的癌症研究和臨床治療中心-德克薩斯大學M.D.安得森癌症中心 (TheUniversity of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center)工作, 先後任講師(Instructor)和助理教授 (Assistant Professor), 主要從事肺癌、皮膚癌、乳腺癌的基因治療和靶向治療; 抗癌基因 (FUS1和 IL24) 的作用機制和信號傳導,以及新型腫瘤分子標記和藥物治療靶點等方面的研究, 並指導博士生和博士後的科研工作。2008年至今,被聘為浙江大學客座教授。2009年9月,作為中山大學“百人計畫”人才引進回國,任中山大學腫瘤防治中心華南腫瘤學國家重點實驗室教授,PI和博士生導師。

研究方向

(1)肺癌、皮膚癌和乳腺癌的發生、發展和轉移的信號傳導及分子機理
(2)癌症的基因治療, 分子靶向治療和結合治療,以及這些治療的分子機制和臨床套用
(3)抗癌基因 (如FUS1, IL-24, NPRL2, FHIT,p53) 和致瘤基因 (如COX-2,iNOS,AP-2β, CD70) 的表達調控、信號轉導和分子機制
(4)利用最近發展的基因組學和蛋白質組學技術 (如PCR Array, siRNA library screen, SELID-MS and LC-MS-based Protein Chip Arrays) 篩選,發現和鑑定新型的腫瘤分子標記和藥物治療靶點
(5)新型多功能抗癌納米藥物 (基因納米藥物和多肽納米藥物) 的研究開發, 以及它們在癌症治療和檢測上的臨床套用

主要成就

以第一作者在Blood, Cancer Research, J Biol Chem, The FASEB Journal, Oncogene, Journal of Immunology, Melanoma Research, Cancer Gene Therapy, Circulation等國際主流雜誌上發表論文多篇, 以第一作者發表高水平論文多篇。先後獨力或共同申請主持美國 NIH/NCI 研究項目 (SPORE, R01, P01) 六項。是FASEB Journal, Cellular and Molecular Biology Letter, Experimental Lung Research 等雜誌的審稿人; 美國癌症研究協會 (AACR)、美國生物化學和分子生物學 (ASBMB) 會員。
