研究領域
1、從海洋等來源的特境微生物“talented strains”資源中發掘創新藥物先導化合物:
利用生物學與化學相結合的集成篩選方法,從海洋等特殊環境微生物中篩選並發現具有重要生物活性的藥物先導化合物及藥源微生物“talented strains”新資源。
2、非“talented strains”向“talented strains”的轉化研究:
利用化學誘導和共培養技術,激活微生物中表達次生代謝產物的沉默基因,轉化“非天才菌株”為“天才菌株”。
3、天然藥物的最佳化:
對具有重要生物活性的微生物天然產物進行結構修飾,探討構效關係,獲得臨床候選藥物。

教育背景
1981–1985年:
武漢大學化學系,畢業並獲得理學學士學位。
1985–1988年:武漢大學化學系,畢業並獲得理學碩士學位,發表論文1篇(現為SCI期刊)。
1997–2001年:中科院昆明植物研究所,畢業並獲得理學博士學位,發表SCI論文14篇(第一作者SCI論文8篇)。
個人經歷
1988–2003年:雲南師範大學化學系,從事有機化學科研與教學工作,任講師、副教授、教授;承擔國家、省級課題各1項,發表論文15篇,主編教參1部。
2001–2003年:中國科學院上海有機化學研究所博士後,從事活性產物噴腦皂甙元及其衍生物合成研究,申請中國發明專利3項(授權2項)。
2003–今:中國海洋大學醫藥學院,從事海洋天然產物化學的科研與教學工作,任教授、碩導、博導。承擔973、863、NSFC等國家級課題15項,發表SCI論文115篇,申請中國發明專利25項(授權12項)。
2017年12月8日中國海洋大學朱偉明教授應邀作客“未央導師論壇”,做了題為《特境微生物來源的活性產物研究》的報告。
