UL提供ISO 9000認證的登記註冊服務。ISO 9000是一系列由國際標準化組織（ISO）所制定的國際質量體系標準。ISO 9000標準綜合了由美國國家標準協會（ANSI）/美國質量協會（ASQ）所發布的QS 9000系列標準、歐盟的29000系列歐洲標準（EN）以及其他國家所採用的國家標準。
ISO 9000系列標準包括五個部分，ISO 9000闡明了質量概念並為如何選擇和使用一系列的國際質量標準提供了指南。ISO 9004 對ISO 9000中的每個質量體系要素進行了描述說明，並幫助企業詳細地認識理解整個運行過程，能在為特定的企業制定質量體系時選用最適當的要素。ISO 9004可以用於質量管理的目的。
ISO 9001、9002和9003是三個截然不同的質量體系模式，它們是建立在產品或服務供應商所必需具備的功能和組織能力基礎之上的。ISO 9001 描述了廣泛的設計、開發、生產、安裝及服務的方法；ISO 9002描述了供應商所需要的生產和安裝能力；而ISO 9003則描述了最終檢查和測試。每種標準的特定要求都高於該標準的符合項清單列表報告。

SA 8000 Social Accountability Management System Requirements SA 8000 社會責任管理體系要求
SA 8000 是一種國際標準，它為工作場所管理體系建立了標準要求。這個標準是由經濟優先權委員會（紐約和倫敦）所開發制定並由國際社會責任組織（SAI）認可。這個標準是於90年代後期從和商業、勞動組織、政府及非政府組織合作中引入並制定。它的要求和國際勞工組織及聯合國的相關要求保持一致。儘管它採用的是ISO 9000的模式，但是SA 8000 不屬於ISO系列標準檔案。
SA 8000標準包含九個主要部分：童工、強制性勞工、健康和安全、協會自由、歧視、紀律條例、工作時間、賠償以及包括供應鏈管理的管理評審功能。
除了SA 8000標準評定以外，社會責任審核服務還可以包括第一方、第二方或第三方對行業規範和個別公司道德規範的評定。眾多行業組織以及個別公司都備有這些檔案資料。
SA 8000以及社會責任審核的目的是向第二方、第三方或公眾提供獨立的保證措施，以便使這些公司企業能夠滿足某些規定的要求。這些要求包括對內部人員運作的要求以及會對供應鏈、內外部溝通以及透明度產生影響的要求。具體的要求取決於所評定的標準或規範。
