作為索尼古典音樂獨家簽約的藝術家，並以其對曲目廣泛而大膽的選擇而廣為人知，貝爾灌錄了許多曲目極富變化的唱片。最近發行的唱片包括Angels & Demons and Defiance里的配樂、維瓦爾第的四季、與John Corigliano合作的紅色小提琴協奏曲、與柏林愛樂樂團合作的柴可夫斯基小提琴協奏曲、The Essential Joshua Bell、小提琴的情歌和小提琴的浪漫。而小提琴的浪漫這張專輯讓貝爾被Billboard*評為2004年最佳古典樂CD，而貝爾本人也被評為年度最佳古典藝術家。
