《霍比特人：五軍之戰》曝光由比利·博伊德（Billy Boyd）演唱的片尾曲《The Last Goodbye》MV。比利曾在《指環王》三部曲中飾演皮瑞格林·圖克，雖然他沒有機會與霍比特人面對面來一番交流，不過在這支MV中，我們依然可以看到比利的演唱，配合著該系列六部電影的鏡頭混剪，以及彼得·傑克遜帶領著所有演員幕後創作的暖心時刻，像一段漫長而悠揚的回憶。回憶著人間十五載，中土六十年。
伴隨著舒緩的前奏音樂，最後一次中土之旅在比利獨特的聲線中拉開序幕。輕鬆活潑的歌曲風格讓我們仿佛又一次回到了夏爾的袋底洞小屋，陪著比爾博種下一棵橡樹。而細聽歌詞，我們卻又聽到了菲力的墜崖和索林的離去，讓人潸然淚下。最後的“I bid you all a very fond farewell”，是比利在向我們道別，是彼得傑克遜導演在向我們告別，是整個劇組在向我們道別，是比爾博在向朋友們道別，也是中土世界在向我們道別，從此銀幕再無中土。
對於自己創作和演繹的這首歌，比利表示，在看了電影之後，他開始寫下一些感受與創作想法，在這過程中，很多想法將他們帶入了死胡同，但他們很快發現這不只是一首歌，“五軍之戰”的結束應該是一首向中土世界的告別之歌。
比利補充道：“《指環王》系列電影對我們來說，是一段難忘的特殊時刻，我們在紐西蘭，作為托爾金工作的一部分而創作，在那個美妙的幻想世界裡唱歌，這首歌要對每一位中土世界的影迷們告別，是你們和我們一起走過了這段真正偉大而充滿榮譽的旅程。
