80年代有史以來最紅的挪威組合A-Ha
A-Ha，80年代有史以來最紅的挪威組合，加盟了WEA公司，顛峰作為：“The Sun Always Shines on T.V.”，A-Ha前身是由Pal Waaktaar和Magne Furuholmen組成的Bridges。在八十年代初，隨著Morten Harket的加入，才更名為A-Ha。
1985年以一首《Take On Me》奪得包括美國、德國、挪威等全球9個國家的排行冠軍，並奪下8座MTV音樂錄影帶大獎的A-Ha，1998年12月，應諾貝爾和平獎典禮晚會之邀重返舞台喚起樂壇對這支銜接70年代ABBA、90年代Roxette的北歐優質音樂精英的記憶，2000年春季登場的最新專輯《MinorEarth MajorSky》是A-HA與全球樂迷闊別7年的熟悉問候，發行首周，便攻占德國專輯榜冠軍寶座。在新作中透過歲月洗禮後的歌聲與管弦樂的氣度烘托，延續之中帶有新的突破。
改變或許是人生唯一真正永恆不變的事。你可以把《MinorEarth MajorSky》當作復出、重新聚首或重生，但對A-HA三位成員來說，推出新專輯似乎沒那么複雜，又沒那么簡單。他們是在接受人生帶給他們的改變，只有三個成熟的人能做出這樣的專輯，並在製作過程中欣然接受自己的成長和進步。
“當我們還小的時候，我們會跟彼此保證我們以後會比甲殼蟲還紅！”Pal Waaktaar和Magne Furuholmen回憶道，他們和主唱Morten Harket終將完成兒時的夢想。A-HA的首支單曲《Take On Me》於1986年在世界各地排行榜上奪冠，創新的音樂錄影帶對這首歌的走紅居功不小，至今仍是大家最難忘的音樂錄影帶之一。接下來的幾年內，A-HA獲得了八座MTV音樂獎，在美國和英國再獲得十首打入排行榜前十名的單曲，發行了四張專輯，演唱007電影《黎明殺機》主題曲，並舉辦多場大爆滿的演唱會，包括在巴西里約熱內盧一座足球場舉辦的二十萬人演唱會。

1977年，David Coverdale組建了Whitesnake樂隊。樂隊成立後推出的第一張作品是EP Snake Bits，憑藉專輯中一首翻唱歌曲Ain't No In The Heart Of The City，該EP打上了排行榜第11名。為了提高知名度，1979年大半時間Whitesnake都在巡演途中。巡演途中他們完成了專輯Love Hurter的錄製工作，這一次，David Coverdale將美女與野獸的意念表現在專輯中，前Deep Purple的鍵盤手Jon Lord的加入使專輯的音響效果更為豐富，專輯完成後，又是原Deep Purple的鼓手Ian Paice替補進樂隊，並與Whitesnake合作到1982年。 1980年1月，Whitesnake首赴日本演出，接著單曲Fool for Loving在英國被看好，專輯Ready An' Willing則首次進入美國排行榜。1981年，專輯Come An' Get It取得更好的成績，Come An' Get It專輯與以前作品不同的是，整張專輯幾乎走的都是重金屬路線，一反過去的選取幾首抒情慢板歌曲的作風。
