Train是一個來自美國加利福尼亞州舊金山的搖滾樂隊，成立於1994年。Train憑藉他們1998年發行的首張專輯《Train》在主流音樂中取得成功。2001年發行的第二張專輯《Drops of Jupiter》給樂隊帶來了很高的人氣。專輯的主打單曲《Drops of Jupiter》引起了極大的國際反響並且在2002年贏得了兩項葛萊美獎。這部專輯在美國和加拿大達到了雙白金銷量（10萬張），至今仍然是樂隊最暢銷的專輯。發行於2003年的第三張錄音室專輯《My Private Nation》延續了樂隊的成功，也在美國達到了白金銷量。樂隊又在2006年發行了第四張專輯《For Me, It's You》。儘管音樂評論人普遍對專輯給予了積極的評價，但是仍然沒有在商業上取得成功。之後，Train迎來了3年的沉默。

《50 Ways To Say Goodbye》這首歌又被戲稱為“前女友的50種死法”，如果不看歌詞，會感覺只是一個歡快節奏的歌曲，根據歌詞每句話，讓人有很大的遐想空間，“她被獅子生吞了，她被一輛破車碾成肉餅了…”，看似只是前女友的死法各種描述，整體內容也比較滑稽搞笑，歌曲節奏感也比較強，但實際上男主很痛苦，一直想把前女友的記憶刪除，但一直忘不掉，也騙不了自己，“我已經編不下去了，去說你怎么死的”，哭著說help me，help me我不懂分手啦！一個簡簡單單的歌詞故事，被Train唱的有聲有色。
