鄭德超，男，1961年生，重慶市開縣人，教授，國際著名數學家。研究方向為：函式空間上的運算元理論、運算元代數、調和分析。

1982年重慶大學套用數學專業本科畢業；1985年四川大學基礎數學碩士研究生畢業在四川大學任教；1987年至1992年與美國紐約州立大學石溪分校基礎數學專業博士畢業；1992年至1993年在美國柏克萊分校數學研究所做博士後研究，1993年至1994年在美國加州大學柏克萊分校做博士後研究；1994年至1996年美國密西根州立大學任研究講師；1996年至今在美國范德堡大學(Vanderbilt University)任教，從助理教授、副教授到教授。
研究成果
鄭教授留學美國三十多年，作為函式空間上運算元理論這一領域的領軍人物，其研究成果主要發表在： Advances in Mathematics， Journal of Functional Analysis， Journal fur die Reine und Angewandte Mathematik， Mathematische Annalen， Transactions of the American Mathematical Society，Journal of Operator Theory，Integral Equations and Operator Theory，Journal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications，Indiana University Mathematics Journal，Pacific Journal of Mathematics，Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society，Studia Mathematica， Science China Mathematics 以及Chinese Annals of Mathematics (Series B)等國內外知名的數學期刊上。其中，多篇具有突破性意義的論文發表在泛函分析領域的頂尖級期刊上。
