2011年獲得中國科學院國家天文台博士學位。於2011年入職中科院國家天文台工作至今。2022年晉升為研究員。主要從事大規模星系巡天和巡天數據處理以及星系形成和演化等方面的研究,截止2022年已發表論文90餘篇,引用率超6000次。發表巡天數據處理相關的軟體著作權4項。負責 南銀冠u波段巡天和北京-亞利桑那巡天項目,並深度參與斯隆四期、五期(SDSS-IV,SDSS-V)和暗能量光譜巡天等大型國際合作項目。參與國內大型巡天項目,包括LAMOST、FAST和CSST等。目前是DESI國際合作項目的創始成員、董事會成員以及中方參與合作的負責人。先後承擔和參與國家自然科學基金項目重點、重大、青年項目和國家重點研發計畫以及中國科學院相關的科研項目。
