作者簡介
潘能，西安交通大學外語系英語教授，碩士生導師，英國伯明罕大學訪問學者，西安交通大學外語系原系副主任，曾任全國大學英語教學指導委員會委員。
潘能教授歷年為英語專業以及語言學專業碩士生開設多門課程並任教大學英語。近年來在西安京師等語言培訓學校擔任大學英語四、六級考前輔導、考研英語輔導以及托福、雅思等考試考前強化訓練，。主進英語寫作。
潘能教授的主要著作有《英語聽力八步》、《英語短文寫作八步》、《英語閱讀八步》、《英語口語八步》、《英美散文選讀》、《英語口譯——理論、技巧與實踐》、《大學英語學習指南》、《大學英語達標快車系列》以及《考研英語技巧》等。
