Lesson 10
Exercise 1.
To make yourself a nice cup of tea, first you have to boil some hot water. The boiled water is used to clean and warm the teapot and the cup. Then put a spoon of tea leaf into the teapot, pour in some boiled water. Wait for a few second and pour the tea into your cup. Now you can enjoy a fresh cup of tea.
Exercise 2.
Stay away from the track and do not enter the tunnel. No smoking or eating is allowed in the subway. Do not carry dangerous articles into the subway. Neither can you bring pets or bicycles with you. Stand in line when you wait for the train. Don't try to open the gate by yourself. Don't jump or run or lie on the chair, and be careful when you get off the train.
Exercise 3.
It looks like raining. Mimmy, the rabbit, didn't have an umbrella with him,so he picked up a big mushroom to use as an umbrella. On her way home, it began to rain heavily. She saw two birds in the rain and invited them to stay under the mushroom. Latrr, a little ant was walking in the rain. Mimmy also asked him to join under the mushroom. When the birds and the ant reached their houses in the big tree, they said goodbye and thank you to Mimmy. Mimmy felt happy too because she have made the most use of her mushroom.
Exercise 4.
They skated on the lake for a few rounds. While they were enjoying themselves,the ice suddenly broke and they fell into the water. They were shocked, but fortunately they both knew how to swim. Before they got up, they found some fish in the water. Getting wet, they felt very cold, but they were also very excited. They each caught a fish in the hand and were already thinking about the delicious fish dinner.
