研究方向

研究領域包括複雜疾病的遺傳易感性,比較與進化藥物基因組學,以及分子水平人類適應性進化。目前研究方向為P450和ABC轉運體等藥物代謝酶的進化與功能基因組學。對疾病的遺傳分析,不僅需要從橫向的空間上分析不同群體或個體的遺傳變異對疾病譜和易感性的影響,而且需要在縱向的進化歷史中,把疾病的自然史和人類的分子適應性進化結合起來,考察人類起源遷移的群體歷史中,動態變化的環境風險因素對疾病相關基因的達爾文分子選擇。運用群體遺傳學與分子進化的原理與方法,結合分子與細胞生物學的實驗手段,以及基於家系或群體的疾病連鎖與關聯分析,從多個水平研究“疾病遺傳與人類進化”,不僅對探詢人類進化的自然史有重要理論意義,而且對了解包括腫瘤與心腦血管疾病等重大複雜疾病的病因學,以及疾病譜和藥物反應性的群體差異,並最終促進疾病群體預防和個體化治療,亦有重大現實意義。
