《怎樣學好牛津英語之閱讀篇（7年級第2學期7B）（配修訂版教材）》可供使用《英語（牛津上海版）（試用本）》七年級第二學期教材的同學使用，也可以作為使用其他版本教材的同學的輔助讀物。《怎樣學好牛津英語之閱讀篇（7年級第2學期7B）（配修訂版教材）》書共包含11個單元（Unit），主題與校內教材中各單元一致，每個單元包含三課，每課的篇幅為兩頁，包括Beforeyouread的預熱活動或思考題，Whileyouread的閱讀文章，以及Afteryouread的相關閱讀練習。設計的練習既有類似中考的題型，也有任務型閱讀的題型。每課最後有Newwordsandexpressions欄目，羅列了本課中出現的重要生詞及慣用語。此外，每個單元還另有三課相關主題的拓展閱讀（Morepractice）。
