1982年畢業於河北大學外文系英語專業，獲學士學位。1994-1996年在英國愛丁堡大學英國文學系研讀英國文學。現在河北大學外國語學院講授英國文學史，英語泛讀、英國文學選讀等課程。出版的作品有文學譯著，教材及論文等。
研究方向
19世紀英國文學及現代英國小說。
