中國電機工程學會高級會員,IEEE Fellow,IET Fellow等學術任職以及《中國電機工程學報》、《電網技術》、《IEEE Transactions on Power Systems》、《CSEE電力與能源系統學報》等幾十種國內外期刊期刊編委。主持國家自然科學基金9項,包括國家自然科學基金重點國際合作研究項目1項,中英合作交流項目、中美(TAMU-NSFC)交流項目、中韓雙邊會議項目各1項;其中3項被評為國家自然科學基金優秀結題項目。發表論文300餘篇,其中SCI收錄80餘篇(含IEEE Transactions文章40餘篇),EI收錄200餘篇。中國引文資料庫H指數為46,論文被引用7400餘篇次,其中單篇最高引用594次,2008、2012年兩次獲得中國百篇最具影響學術論文。獲得授權發明專利15項(含香港發明專利2項),獲軟體著作權15項。獲得2016年第44屆日內瓦國際發明展金獎1項、銀獎1項;第十屆北京發明創新大賽發明創新獎銀獎2項(2016年)。2014年獲國家級教學成果二等獎(第1完成人)。2015年7月在美國丹佛召開的IEEE PES General Meeting上被IEEE PES授予2014年度全球電力能源預測競賽優勝獎。
