現任澳門科技大學校長，中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室主任，兼任世界衛生組織傳統醫學項目顧問、國際標準組織ISO/TC249技術委員會中藥標準化工作組召集人、國家自然科學基金特邀研究項目審評專家等職務。劉教授畢業於廣州中醫藥大學，獲醫學博士學位（中西醫結合研究方向），博士後赴德國漢諾瓦醫學院分子藥理研究所及愛爾蘭根-紐倫堡大學馬普研究協會（德國科學院）風濕病與免疫研究所從事中藥抗炎免疫藥理研究。劉教授學貫中西醫學，是中藥抗炎免疫藥理、中藥新藥研發、風濕與關節炎研究領域的知名專家，在國內外學術刊物及會議發表研究報告逾300篇，包括世界頂尖科學期刊《Nature》（自然），擔任多種英文學術期刊編輯，包括Journal of Chinese Evidence-based Medicine、Journal of Chinese Medicine、Chinese J of Immunology、Journalof Materia Medica等。2017年05月，獲得全國創新爭先獎狀。

人物簡介
劉良，1990年畢業於廣州中醫藥大學，獲醫學博士學位（中西醫結合研究方向）。1992年赴德國漢諾瓦醫學院分子藥理研究所及愛爾蘭根-紐倫堡大學馬普研究協會（德國科學院）風濕病與免疫研究所從事中藥抗炎免疫藥理研究，回國後於1997年出任廣州中醫藥大學副校長、教授、博士生導師。2000年8月透過“輸入內地優秀人才計畫”前往香港工作，出任浸會大學中醫藥學院常務副院長及教授，2001年1月升任為該院奠基院長並任職至2011年6月止， 2007年4月晉升為該校終身講座教授。2011年7月起，劉良擔任澳門科技大學副校長，負責管理全校的研究及拓展事務。2013年1月起，接任澳門科技大學校長。
