劉明兮，男，1986年5月生，博士。2003年9月就讀南京醫科大學臨床醫學本碩連讀七年制；2012年9月獲得南京醫科大學生殖醫學博士學位，師從沙家豪教授、周作民教授；2012年10月至2014年8月加入加拿大McGill University美國男科學會會長Bernard Robaire院士實驗室從事博士後研究；2014年8月加入南京醫科大學，現為生殖醫學國家重點實驗室PI、教授。長期從事男性不育相關基因功能研究，主要套用基因敲除動物模型和蛋白質組學技術研究睪丸優勢表達蛋白、以及睪丸特殊的基因調控機制在男性不育中發揮的潛在作用。先後解析了無精子症和弱精子症關鍵基因SNRPA1、TCTE1、PNLDC1等基因功能，以通訊作者或第一作者在《PNAS》、《Cell Research》、《Biology of Reproduction》、《Proteomics》、《Molecular Human Reproduction》等權威或專業雜誌發表多篇SCI論文。現為美國男科學會（American Society of Andrology，ASA）和生殖研究學會（The Society for the Study of Reproduction,SSR）會員。擔任《Plos Genetics》等專業雜誌審稿人。主持國家自然科學基金面上項目2項、江蘇省高校自然科學研究計畫重大項目1項，獲2015年國家科技進步獎二等獎（排名第10）。
