作者簡介
蔡志忠，1948 年2月2日出生於台灣彰化茄冬。15歲中途輟學後隻身到台北，開始連環漫畫創作；1971年出任光啟社電視美術指導；1977年，白手起家，創立遠東卡通公司；1981年，另創龍卡通公司；此間，拍攝了《 七彩卡通老夫子 》，《 烏龍院 》等卡通電影，《 老夫子 》曾獲金馬獎最佳卡通電影長片獎；1983年，開始在各報刊發表四格漫畫作品，並在新加坡、馬來西亞、香港、日本的報章長期連載；1984年，自組個人漫畫工作室作品；1985年，獲選為台灣十大傑出青年；1999年，獲荷蘭克勞斯王子基金會獎。
