2021年7月13日，西湖大學鄭鉅聖課題組在經典營養學雜誌The Journal of Nutrition上發表了關於個性化營養干預的最新成果，該研究首次將單病例隨機對照試驗（N-of-1 trial）的設計套用於精準營養領域，重點在個體水平揭示了不同宏量營養素比例的飲食對不同個體所產生的個性化的餐後血糖反應。該項研究開啟了營養干預的新模式，對指導個體對膳食模式的選擇具有重要意義，為將來的營養學精準干預提供了模板。
