Daniel Bedingfield雖然這位來自英國東南部的舞曲藝人已經不是第一次在排行榜上露面了，但還是有許多人不了解他的背景。DANIEL BEDINGFIELD只有23歲，他有兩個妹妹，關係非常融洽，小時候經常和他們一起聽一些R&B音樂，後來幾個人開始膩味光聽不練的假把式，就組了一隻名叫DNA Algorhythm樂隊，並且在當地小有名氣。後來Daniel認識了一個來自利茲的女友，並在一次做愛之後的談話中獲取靈感，用話筒和電腦創作了單曲《Gotta Get Thru This》，該單曲很快就被獨立廠牌Relentless發表，登上了英國榜No.1，從而一舉成名，並被當地的媒體評為那一年有希望的藝人。新單曲《Never Gonna Leave Your Side》剛一上榜就奪得了第一的位置，可見其人氣之旺盛，可惜該單曲依然一首由發人深思的歌詞加上跳舞音樂節奏組成的流行歌，和上一首單曲《If You're Not the One》相比，雖說不是同一件衣服上的兩塊布，但差不多也是由相同的面料組成的一件衣服，沒什麼新意.
