創作背景

《Take It Off》的創作靈感，是Kesha在晚上所去的一家同志酒吧里得到的。當時，Kesha身邊的人都脫的乾乾淨淨，唯有她穿了一件比基尼，這首歌就是因他們而生。該歌曲錄製於美國洛杉磯的康威錄音工作室，在創作歌曲的過程中，Kesha獨自填寫歌詞，盧克博士（Dr. Luke）和克勞德·凱利負責創作音樂伴奏，前者包攬了鼓、鍵盤樂器以及編排歌曲音樂的工作，後者則與The Pickleheadz擔任起伴唱歌手一職。
