Strathfield Station
Strathfield railway station is a major interchange on Sydney's CityRail network and a hub for buses serving the northern part of the inner west. The suburb of Strathfield includes many high-rise apartments and a number of shopping centres such as Strathfield Plaza. These are mostly on the southern side of the station along with a large taxi stand and bus terminal.
Strathfield is located on the Northern, Inner West, Western and South railway lines and is also a stop for trains on the CountryLink network. The station has Easy Access for wheelchairs.
The station has 8 platforms, with the northern platforms (1-3) serving Countrylink and inter-city trains; (4-6) serving the Northern and Western lines; and the southern platforms (7-8) serving the South and Inner West lines. On the north end of the station is a bus stop for Murrays, Greyhound Australia and other buses.
This station is one of a few stations without rubbish bins.

Blue Mountains Line - intercity services to Central; peak hour intercity services to proceeds to Hornsby via the North Shore Line.
Olympic Park Line - weekday off-peak and special event limited stops services to Central.
This platform is occasional used by inbound Western Line.
Platform 3:
Countrylink North Coast - country services to Grafton (1 per day), Casino (1 per day) and Brisbane (Roma Street) (1 per day).
Countrylink Southern - country services to Canberra (2 per day), Melbourne (Southern Cross) (2 per day) and Griffith (1 per week).
Countrylink Western - country services to Dubbo (1 per day) and Broken Hill (1 per week).
Countrylink North Western - country services to Armidale and Moree (1 per day).
Blue Mountains Line - intercity services to Springwood, Katoomba, Mount Victoria and Lithgow.
Newcastle & Central Coast Line - intercity services to Gosford, Wyong and Newcastle.
Olympic Park Line - weekday off-peak and special event limited stops services to Olympic Park.
This platform is occasional used by outbond Western Line and Northern Line.
Platform 4:
Western Line - all stations and limited stops services to Central; then to Gordon, Hornsby and Berowra via the North Shore Line.
This platform is occasional used by inbound South Line.
Platform 5:
Northern Line - all stations services to North Sydney, Lindfield, Gordon or Hornsby via the North Shore Line.
Platform 6:
Western Line - all stations and limited stops and peak hour express services to Blacktown, Riverstone, Richmond, Penrith and Emu Plains.
Northern Line - all stations and limited stop services to Eastwood and Hornsby.
This platform is occasional used by outbound South Line.
Platform 7:
Inner West Line - all stations services to Central and the City Circle (clockwise).
South Line - limited stops services to Central and the City Circle (clockwise).
Platform 8:
Inner West Line - all stations services to Lidcombe and Liverpool (Lidcombe trains proceeding via the Bankstown Line.)
