I Love My Dog是二十世紀七十年代英國民謠搖滾歌手Cat Stevens（凱特·斯蒂文斯）的第一支單曲，其創作靈感來源於美國著名爵士大師Yusef Lateef的作品《The Plum Blossom》（1961年），1966年9月31日由知名製作人Mike Hurst在Deram Records（隸屬迪卡唱片）發行，收錄在其個人首張唱片《Matthew and Son》中，單曲在UK Singles Chart（英國單曲榜）最高排28位，並以此走紅。

歌手簡介

Cat Stevens（凱特·斯蒂文斯）是英國民謠搖滾的代表人物，原名史蒂文·喬治烏（Steven Georgiou）。當他成為一名國際明星之後，於1979年皈依宗教並放棄了他的音樂事業並在1977年改名為Yusuf Islam，兩年後，他逐漸從流行音樂界淡出。1981年，Yusuf Islam開始創作一些宗教題材的歌曲。迄今為止，他在他自己的Mountain of Light廠牌已經發行了10張單是鼓加人聲的專輯，而這些內容被他精選收錄到了最近的專輯《Footsteps in the Light》當中。
