Dino Jelusic 出生於1992年6月4日,來自歐洲的一個小國家——克羅地亞,自幼就是一位才貌雙全的小男孩, Dino 的父母都是搞音樂的,Dino 專輯中就有不少歌曲是他父親所創作的。Dino 他父親是彈吉他的,他母親是吹長笛的,而Dino 跟他的妹妹就彈鋼琴。在2歲就會演唱他所喜愛的歌手的所有歌曲,幼稚園時的各種表演就讓大家發現他的音樂才華,他5歲就已經擁有生平第一次的電視音樂秀的登台經驗,並且受邀參加各種演出,其中有幾首自創歌曲更是獲得過音樂獎項! 2003年11歲的他代表克羅地亞參加JESC(全歐洲少年歌手大賽)眾望所歸的讓他脫穎而出而得到冠軍,他有著俊秀的外表和具有爆發力的嗓音,除了詞曲皆出自他自己,一開頭的鋼琴旋律即是由Dino自行包辦伴奏,也因為這次的比賽,他一夕成名成為第一位贏得JESC比賽的兒童,精彩的舞台表演吸引了許多歌迷,並且他已經有了自己的官方網站,個人專輯"No.1"更是發行了克羅地亞版和國際英語版兩種版本。值得一提的是,其中還有幾首歌曲是 Dino 他自己所創作的!他為數不多的幾首慢歌也頗具味道。

It was in Copenhagen, Denmark on November 15th 2003.I live with my parents, sister Lorena and brother Bruno in Zagreb and attend 8th class of primary school and 6th class of music school where I am playing piano.
I started singing very early. In the age of 2,5 I knew all songs from my favourite singer "Gibonni" (all 3 albums), and was singing in kindergarten and for my friends.
In the age of 5,5, I went to audition for "Turbo Limach Show", the best children show on Croatian TV, where children sing live. From 5700 participants they selected 64 and I was one of them. I won in the first round with a rock song (Gibonni), then in the semifinal (16 singers) with the song of Tony Cetinski "Zbog nje". (Toni Cetinski was our representative on Eurocontest a few years ago).
I did fantastic live appearance on stage in the big final in February 1999 (only 3 singers and 1 dance group) which opened me possibility to sing on a lot of places. Mr. Tony Cetinski congratulated me for performance of his song, and called me to sing with him on a revival night of Croatian Eurosong contest (reserved for all Croatian winners in past years). Dressed like Tony, with the same hairstyle as Tony's, I got attention to the representatives of media, and was in all newspapers and a few TV shows.
When and where was held Junior Eurovision Song Contest that you won?
After that, I was singing on Mothers day in Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, on a special concert in Croatian National Theatre in Varazdin, on ATP Challenger Tennis Tournament - Zagreb Open, etc.
In October, 1999. I participated in International Nile Song Festival in Cairo, Egypt, where I won 4th prize in 5 - 8,5 years category with song "New Millennium Kid" written by my father Dario Jelusic.
In April 2000, I was singing in Bjelovar Children Festival in Croatia and won 1st prize by auditorium, 2nd prize of jury, award for music (Dario Jelusic, my father), and an award for the arrangement (Tihomir Preradovic).
In July 2000, I won singing contest organized by McDonald's Croatia; in the great final I was the best of 30 competitors with 60 maximal points.
In January 2001, I participated the final of the Croatian festival "Dorica" in Opatija and few days letter, I won 3rd prize on INF in Cairo - Egypt.
In March 2001, a festival called "Turbovision" was a live performed spectacle where few of the best children singers in Croatia sang the winning songs of Eurovision contest; I participated with Johnny Logan's "Hold me now".
In July 2001, I was one of the participants of the International Children Festival in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, and won a Grand Prix with song "Dijete novog vremena".
Furthermore, in September 2001, I got my first solo, humanitarian concert; all the money collected during the concert were meant to Children Department of the Hospital Rebro in Zagreb. Concert was supported by McDonald's, Family radio, Nesquick and Sunnypress.
In November 2001, I participated on the 1st Golden Star festival in Bucharest - Romania with song "Emily" and won the Popularity Award as well as the Press Award.
There were four international festivals in 2002: Veo-veo in Alicante - Spain, Super Grand Prix in Igea Marina - Italy (1st prize), 2nd Golden Star festival in Bucharest Romania with my new song "My life is rock'n'roll" (3rd prize) and International Festival in Kaunas - Lithuania (1st prize).
I started the year 2003 with a Fidof award for outstanding performance of the new song "Oh, Lord" on 4th INF in Cairo.
After that, I heard that 1st Junior Eurovision Song Contest is going to be organised, so I started to write a song that finally became a winner on National Contest in Zagreb on 5th July. I got a maximum of 50 points.
In November 2003 in Copenhagen I won the 1st Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
After a big welcome party on airport in Zagreb, I signed my first discograph contract with Dallas records (EMI Croatia) and released a maxi single “Ti si moja prva ljubav” with Croatian and English version of the winning song, two dance remix, 2 karaoke and one band aid song (my gift to UNICEF) and it became the most successful maxi singl in Croatian discography.
Until the end of May 2004 I got a lot of concerts including a very big festival in Dubrovnik with live orchestra, Christmas concert in Croatian National Theatre with philharmonic orchestra where I sang Ave Maria and Silent night - a duet with our opera diva Sandra Bagaric.
I also got a main role in a musical in our most famous theatre (Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago...) and already got 30 performances with a huge success.
They already offered me 2 new roles in 2 rock musicals.
I was a Guest star on New York festival in April, and on Aah Abe tour (4 concerts) through Denmark (100.000 people).
I released in April my first album “No. 1” with 10 songs in Croatian language and 5 songs in English and recorded an international album that is released worldwide.
On 28th September 2004, I got my first big solo concert on cult rocking place – stadium Salata in Zagreb. Around 6000 fans came to sing with me and to help me in humanitarian action against violence in schools (anti bulling). My guests where famous singers like Arsen Dedic (long time ago the San Remo winner and most popular chanconier in Croatia), Tony Cetinski (ex Croatian representative on Eurovision song contest), Jacques Houdek (only European white singer – Barkley student), my sister Lorena who showed her huge potential and with only 9 years of age sung “I will always love you” by W. Houston.
Then I went as a guest star to great international children song festival “Golden star” to Romania.
After opening the 2nd edition of Junior Eurosong in Norway I went on a
5 week tour through Australia where I made 7 concerts.
I participated in Boom boom show on DR (Hold me now – live with piano)
as well as in Langelandsfestival with UB40 and Ronan Keating.
I am sinchronizing a lot of movies, included Warner Bros., Disney (Sharkboy & Lavagirl 3D), Wild, Monster house...
I finished school year with all best marks in regular school as well as in music school
