Cinnamon由Clement Lefebvre,Linux Mint創始的一個桌面互動環境，試圖提供一個布局類似於GNOME 2，含有一個底部面板和啟動器器，GNOME2-like系統托盤和通知等工具。
2012年01月25日，由 Linux Mint 團隊 Fork 自 GNOME Shell 的桌面互動環境 Cinnamon 發布首個穩定版本 1.2。
