龔芸(Yun Gong)醫生是美國德克薩斯大學MD安德森癌症中心 (The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, USA)病理學終身教授 (Professor with Tenure)。
學習及工作經歷
1979年至1984 年就讀於浙江醫科大學 (現浙江大學醫學院)醫療系, 畢業後留校在組胚教研組任助教兩年。
1986年考取該校病理專業研究生,並於1989年獲碩士學位。
1989至1990 在中科院上海細胞所從事人-鼠單抗研究。
1991年前往荷蘭, 在 Department of Molecular and Developmental Genetics, Catholic University of Nijmegen從事分子遺傳學研究。
自1994起, 先後在美國加州大學聖地亞哥分校的醫學中心以及The Scripps Research Institute從事蛋白受體與心血管疾病發病機理的研究。
1998年至2002年,在芝加哥西北大學 (Northwestern University) 接受解剖病理和臨床病理住院醫培訓。繼而在休斯頓的德克薩斯大學MD安德森癌症中心接受細胞病理學Fellowship專業培訓並留院工作至今。
學術成果
龔芸醫生的主要研究領域是細胞學診斷和發展。她也熱衷於乳腺癌生物指標的穩定性與靶向治療關係的研究以及探索與乳腺癌個性化診斷治療有關的可行性研究。迄今,已發表學術論文120篇,包括柳葉刀·腫瘤 (Lancet Oncology),美國醫學會會刊 (JAMA),美國 臨床腫瘤學雜誌 (Journal of Clinical Oncology) 和癌症期刊 (Cancer), 特邀綜述或評論18篇,會議摘要118篇, 獨立出書1本, 參與編寫書籍章節6部。她是MD安德森癌症中心多項乳腺癌科題的負責人或重要合作人, 參與乳腺癌基礎研究和臨床試驗課題二十餘項。她參與的炎性乳癌課題獲兩個Susan G. Komen Promise Grant資助。

龔芸醫生是美國加拿大病理學院 (United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology, USCAP), 美國細胞病理學協會(American Society of Cytopathology, ASC), 美國病理學家協會(College of American Pathologists, CAP)和全美華人病理學會 (Chinese American Pathologists Association, CAPA)會員。她擔任或曾經擔任美國細胞病理學協會的Editorial Review Board和 Scientific Program Committee(學術籌劃委員會 )成員, 全美華人病理學會教育學術委員會主席,全美華人病理學會副主席。2017年2月當選為全美華人病理學會候任主席。
