主要關注光(電磁波)與物質相互作用過程及衍生的套用。具體如:
(1)利用各種光譜手段探索材料中的微觀高速動力學及對其調控;
(2)研究材料對光(電磁波)物理性質的各種調控;
(3)研發各種光譜儀器、超快光電和信息存儲器件。
