湖南大學車輛工程系副教授、博士生導師，主講本科專業課程《電動車輛原理與構造》、《智慧型車輛決策規劃與控制》、《汽車試驗學》等，主要從事複雜系統和智慧型系統最佳化方法研究，包括智慧型控制系統與算法可靠性、多能源車輛與先進驅動、駕駛情感與認知科學、新能源材料與節能結構等。主持國家自然科學基金2項，負責2018“新能源汽車”國家重點研發計畫子任務1項和湖南省科技計畫子課題1項，作為參與人先後獲國家科技進步二等獎1項（2013）和湖南省科技進步一等獎1項（2010）。
