陶鈞,博士,2018年9月起擔任中山大學數據科學與計算機學院副教授,博士生導師,入選中山大學“百人計畫”。其於2015年獲得密西根理工大學計算機科學專業哲學博士學位,2015年至2018年於聖母大學計算機科學與工程系任博士後研究員。其主要研究方向包括:科學可視化,尤其是資訊理論,最佳化方法,和互動探索方法在流場可視化以及多變數時變數據上的套用;對圖像數據集和對時序數據的可視分析和探索;以及軟體可視化在加密算法教育上的套用。成果發表於IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Computer Graphics Forum, ACM Transactions on Intelligent System and Technology, ACM Transactions on Big Data, Computer Graphics and Application, Computers and Graphics等國際高水平期刊,以及IEEE Visualization Conference, IEEE Pacific Visualization Symposium, ACM SIGCSE, IEEE IEEE International Conference on Big Data等國際高水平會議上。其中包括過去5年內在可視化領域頂級期刊TVCG (CCF A)上發表文章8篇。
