鄧愛民，工學博士，教授，曾留學德國。湖南大學交通運輸與物流研究所所長，湖南大學中德交通運輸與物流研究中心主任。湖南大學工商管理學院信息管理與信息系統系主任。科技部國際合作重大項目評審專家，農工黨湖南省科教委員，湖南省“百人工程”首批學者，湖南省物流與採購聯合會副會長，湖南省現代物流學會副會長、湖南省促進物流業發展專家委員會委員、湖南省工業工程學會副理事長，湖南省公路學會理事；國資委國際物流師評審專家，湖南省情專家。1999年前從事工程機械，1999年攻讀博士後從事物流運輸規劃管理及其信息化，2001年晉升教授。主持完成國際國內項目近30餘項，發表國際國內論文50餘篇，指導研究生90餘人。
