研究方向

寄生蟲是一類特殊的動物,需要寄生在一個或多個宿主體內。我們不僅研究寄生蟲的形態、生活史、感染力、抗藥性等基本寄生蟲學特徵,還研究基因及蛋白功能與進化。

學術成就

一直從事人獸共患寄生蟲的研究,並取得顯著成績,2005年迄今,在PNAS、the Lancet Infectious Diseases和Molecular Biology and Evolution等國際頂級學術期刊雜誌發表論文多篇,SCI論文四十餘篇,影響因子10及以上有10篇,得到寄生生物領域國內外同行認可。
研究成果加深了學術界對寄生生物的生物學特性在細胞,蛋白及分子水平上的認識,在物種形成及進化等巨觀方面做出了積極貢獻,也為寄生蟲的控制及藥物靶點設計提供了重要的理論基礎。
