福建中旅集團公司位於福建省福州市鼓樓區湖東路171號中旅大廈五樓，是福建省國有資產監督管理委員會直屬的國有企業，其前身是1949年11月19日在福建省廈門市成立的聞名海內外的新中國第一家“華僑服務社”。

福建中旅集團公司

（下稱福建中旅集團）顧名思義，它最早成立的目的是為海外華人、華僑及港澳台同胞回國探親旅遊提供服務。隨著各地華僑服務社相繼成立，全國華僑旅行服務總社於1957年4月22日成立，並於1974年成立中國旅行社。1987年，各地中旅社由中央下放歸屬地方管理，為了適應深化改革，擴大開放和我國旅遊事業迅猛發展的形勢要求，經福建省政府授權省經委於1988年12月28日批准，以福建省中國旅行社為核心，下轄廈門、泉州、石獅、漳州、武夷山等8個子公司的福建中旅集團公司正式成立。福建中旅集團主要經營範圍包括對旅遊、賓館、餐飲業、公路運輸業的投資管理、諮詢服務和人員培訓等。2004年7月，福建中旅集團成為由福建省國資委履行出資人職責的首批省屬企業之一，2005年7月，經福建省國資委核准集團公司的註冊資本增資變更為35527.1萬元。

2007年，集團公司進行重組整合，將過去以地域分塊的管理架構重組整合為垂直化、專業化的管理體系，發展成為融旅行社、飯店、旅運為主業的一體化、綜合性的大型旅遊集團。福建中旅集團公司子公司遍布全省各地市，現有6家二級專業總公司，即：福建省中國旅行社、福建中旅飯店管理公司、福建中旅汽車公司、福建中旅資產經營公司、福建中旅物業管理公司和福建中旅實業股份公司。
