創作背景

世界癌症報告估計，2012年中國癌症發病人數為306.5萬，約占全球發病的五分之一；癌症死亡人數為220.5萬，約占全球癌症死亡人數的四分之一。

伴隨著老齡化加劇、生態環境遭受破壞、不健康生活方式及食品安全問題凸現，我國腫瘤發病率多年持續上升，已成為一個必須高度重視的公共衛生問題乃至社會問題，中國亟須向腫瘤宣戰。

國家癌症中心腫瘤流行病學研究員代敏介紹，今後20年，我國癌症的發病數和死亡數還將持續上升：根據國際癌症研究署預測，如不採取有效措施，我國癌症發病數和死亡數到2020年將上升至400萬人和300萬人；2030年將上升至500萬人和350萬人。
