王勤，美國數學會會員，上海市數學會會員。
研究方向
主要研究方向為泛函分析，從事粗幾何、運算元代數、非交換幾何等領域的研究。
主要貢獻
與同行合作，刻畫了粗幾何指標代數即Roe代數的理想結構，證明了單連通非正曲率完備黎曼流形的子空間上的粗幾何Novikov猜測成立，並證明了一類膨脹圖expander上的粗幾何Novikov猜測成立。
