主持項目
主持完成了中國科學院院長基金項目、國家自然科學基金面上項目、香港海洋公園保育基金項目、工程建設環境影響評價專題項目等。主持三峽工程公司簽約項目等課題研究。擬開展長江江豚、中華白海豚聲學觀察、行為發展、行為適應、噪聲影響等研究。
所獲榮譽
2008年，“長江江豚遷地保護”（王丁、張先鋒、王克雄等15位完成人）獲湖北省科學技術進步獎一等獎；《遠逝的長江女神》（王丁、王克雄，江蘇科學技術出版社）獲“中華讀書報”百佳、科技部全國優秀科普作品
