特徵描述

large crinoid with long,cylindrical stem of rather uniform columnals lacking cirri;columnals circular,disk-shaped,mostly low;latera with densely arranged,small tubercles to spines;suture serrated;holdfast discoid,mostly turning into encrusting type,consisting of several single,low,laterally enlarged columnals typically covered by callous crust;holdfast callus studded with fine tubercles.axial canal narrow,simple;lumen small,circular to rounded pentagonal;articular facets of columnals with mumerous fine to rather coarse radial crenulae typically covering entire facet;coarser culmina sometimes with longitudinal groove;culmina commonly bifurcating once or twice,but unforked culmina present as well;also insertion of additional crenulae;surface of culmina granulated;sometimes with about circular,granulated perilumen with sculpture of crenulae modified.
