劇情簡介
《房客》是根據MarieBellocLowndes的同名小說改編的電影。
猶太人的白人作家哈利跟黑人作家威利的故事。故事發生在紐約的一棟將廢棄的大樓，哈利是最後一位房客，正在創作他寫了十年未完成的小說。威利住進後兩人相知相惜，並相互幫忙創作。故事轉折在哈利批評了威利充滿黑人粗俗語法的文章後，並與威利女友相愛，橫刀奪愛。威利為求報復，憤而燒了哈利唯一的手稿，十年心血付之一炬，兩人一場生死的決鬥於是展開……
