德克斯·本特利

Dierks Bently（德克斯·本特利），美國著名鄉村歌手。至今已發行了八張錄音室專輯和一張精選專輯，擁有15首鄉村冠軍單曲。他的歌曲的曲調總體較為平淡，卻富含深情，加之擁有帥氣的外表，因而受到不少冬粉的喜愛。在國內，冬粉一般稱他為炸雞叔。

歌手生涯

Dierks Bentley，美國著名鄉村歌手，於1975年11月20日出生在亞利桑那州的菲尼克斯。

Dierks在2003年簽約Capitol Records Nashville唱片公司，並於當年發行了首張同名專輯Dierks Bentley，這張專輯的首支單曲What Was I Thinkin'成功登頂Billboard Hot Country Songs榜單，並獲得黃金銷量（50W）認證；在首單成功的助推下，這張專輯在美國認證白金銷量（100W）。

接著，在2005年，Dierks發行了他的第二張專輯Modern Day Drifter，專輯的前兩首單曲Settle for a Slowdown和Come a Little Closer在Billboard Hot Country Songs都取得過冠軍。和第一張同名專輯一樣，二專在美國獲得了白金銷量。

2006年發行的第三張專輯Long Trip Alone則獲得了黃金銷量，並再收穫兩首鄉村單曲Every Mile a Memory和Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go)。

2008年，Dierks發行了他的個人首張精選專輯Greatest Hits/Every Mile a Memory 2003-2008。

2009年2月，Dierks發行了他的第四張專輯Feel That Fire，其中首單同名主打歌曲和二單Sideways均獲得鄉村冠軍。

2010年6月，Dierks發行了他的第五張專輯Up on the Ridge，與前四張不同的是，這是張蘭草專輯（蘭草即Blueglass，鄉村音樂的一個分支流派），這張專輯更多的是在回饋冬粉和享受不一樣的鄉村音樂，因此成績上並不突出。

2012年2月，Dierks發行了他的第六張專輯Home，該專輯的前三首單曲Am I the Only One\Home\5-1-5-0均獲得鄉村冠軍，後倆首更是成為了Dierks的代表作。同年8月，Dierks發行這張專輯的衍生EP——Country & Cold Cans。

2014年2月，Dierks發行了第七張專輯Riser，這張專輯的首支單曲Bourbon in Kentucky在鄉村電台榜上最高僅排名第45名，是他個人生涯成績最差的單曲，還好接下來的三支單曲I Hold On\Drunk On a Plane\Say You Do都成功奪冠，而Drunk On a Plane更是成為他的首支白金銷量單曲（I Hold On也是白金認證，但認證時間比Drunk On a Plane晚），目前該專輯的第五首單曲Riser仍在打榜。

15年7月，有訊息指出Dierks將在15年年末到16年年初這段時間發行新專輯，且有可能是蘭草風格。

家庭狀況

Bentley的妻子是Cassidy Black，兩人於2005年12月7日結婚。他們住在田納西州的納什維爾，和他們相伴的還有一隻叫Jack的小狗，Jack經常出現在他的音樂錄影帶里。

夫妻倆於2008年10月4號迎來了他們的第一個女兒Evalyn Day Bentley，2010年12月25日兩人生下第二個女兒Jordan Catherine Bentley，但兩人並未生夠。2013年10月9日，兩人生下了第一個兒子Knox Bentley。

Dierks的父親於2012年1月1日去世。

外號

在國內，冬粉習慣叫Dierks為炸雞，很多剛認識Dierks的人並不了解這個外號的來源，其實這個外號需要一點聯想能力：Dierks=德克士→德克士的炸雞最為有名→炸雞。這個外號比起其他一些鄉村歌手的外號來說，蠻獨特，也好記。
