2003.6-2004.6在英國LOUGHBOROUGH大學作為英國皇家學會中國學者從事1年的研究工作(Royal Society China Fellowships Programme, Loughborough University, IPTM),從事的研究領域為納米高分子複合材料的研究。現為西北工業大學理學院教授,高分子化學與物理及材料學專業博士生導師,理學院科研副院長,理學院套用化學研究所所長。
