奧林匹克憲章第27條第1、3款規定，國際奧組委官方用語為法語和英語。除另有書面明確說明外，一旦奧林匹克憲章及其他國際奧委會檔案的英法文出現歧義，以法文為準。

Official Languages

The official languages of the IOC are French and English, as stipulated in clauses 1 and 3 of Article 27 in the Olympic Charter. In the case of divergence between the French and English texts of the Olympic Charter and all other IOC documents, the French text shall prevail unless expressly provided otherwise in writing.

Langues Officiels

Les langues officielles du CIO sont le français et l’anglais, comme stipulé dans clause 1 et 3 de l’Article 27 de la Charte Olympique. En cas de divergence entre le texte en français et le texte en anglais de la Charte Olympique et de tout autre document du CIO, le texte français fera foi sauf disposition expresse écrite contraire.
