對旋轉不變紋理分類的研究，我們提出了兩種新方法，即基於Gabor小波的旋轉不變紋理分類方法和基於圓形Gabor小波的旋轉不變紋理分類方法。同時為了測定旋轉紋理的角度，我們又提出了一種基於相位一致性的方向估計算法。對尺度不變模式識別的研究，我們提出了基於經驗模態分解和梅林徑向調和分解的方法。
